Thanks for posting. Based on your posts, it seems that you are frustrated and angry. That is understandable. This situation is very stressful. Relax.
I will give you a sincere and useful suggestion, that hopefully will be valid to others as well. Please refrain from pulling the race card on people talking about immigration. That makes you look emotional, character assassin and worse, that can make people perceive you as a racist yourself. That is the failed tactics used by illegal aliens and uneducated people when confronted with the reality that their attitude and posture is irrational. As far as I can tell, NumbersUSA objects against Irish people who came here illegally. Therefore I do not see any correlation between racial profiling there as you seem to persist. I am not here to defend NumbersUSA or Lou Dobbs. I am just here to remind you that if we continue following the rationale "us vs them" and doing character assassination, we will undeniably face rough opposition and struggle to get what we deserve.

Are you working for numbersusa? Do you know that it is made by white supremist who dont want any colored skin including native americans to be alive in US? Talk about your scare of getting too many people with substandard MS degrees. Do you not realize that the companies in USA knows a different in good US school and Bad one - So in nutshell the people from bad school wont get job? Do you know that there is nature's rule - Fittest Survival... So in case you are fit enough and qualified enough to get a job then you will get one, it does not matter if you are from good or bad school....
Also, looking at your thoughts, it does not appear that you are MIT or Stanford grade material, so do us all a favor and keep your thoughts to yourself....
Ombudsman - There is a questionmark on Senthil1's origination but we have no such doubt about yours.. You are definitely a MOLE in this IV Organization and the only reason they keep you on board is because this is democracy and we dont want to throw out someone who might disagree - Its about freedom of expression - But when Freedom of expression crosses the line and creates poison pill then we need to weed it out I guess.....
In any case, I would definitely like to challenge your argument about 400 anti: 1 pro immigration calls. Are you aware of Avertising world rule that when someone does not like soemthing, they tend to tell at least 25 people about it, while when someone likes something, they might tell 1 person. In this case, this classic rule has applied beyond expectations because people who are calling are already racist who sit on their ass and expect all colored people to be their slaves and get things done for them. They want their mexican maid or indian computer programmer doing things for them but the moment they realize that these foreigners might get citizenship and be equal to them, they dont like that.... (and so do you)....So there you go....No wonder they pick up phone and dial....In any case, what better can they do?

thanks a lot guyz for all ur replies. My only concern is can they claim the GC expenses(lawyer fee and advertisement costs involved in PERM filing) as the expenses they incurred because of me leaving the company if they file a law suit using non compete. There is no other expense relocation, training or another kind of expense that company has incurred for me(not a single penny except h1b filing). and one more thing i want to let u know is that i am workign with the same client just changed my h1b to PF. Will that be a trouble??? As i have already mentioned earlier in the agreement of company A with PF when i joined the company clearly specifies that PF can take me immediately upon my termination with company A.

The rule should be if I140 for porting is denied then the applicant should loose his/her initial EB3 priority date also as he /she has indicated that he/she is no longer working in the position as described in EB3 labor. This will make sure that fraudulent applicants cannot port from EB3 to EB2.

Given the market condition, if some one could qualify under EB2 and successfully secure a EB2 labor/I-140, then it must be welcomed and only genuine cases could do so. People with EB3 PD of 2001 or 2002 and waiting for GC might already have worked one or two years prior to starting the process and might be in country working for almost a decade and some even have done their Masters and have the experience. With all this, if they take advantage of this, then they deserve it. I am not able to understand your concern, and also expecting/requesting the porting process to be stopped !! Does not sound right.

Like poste din another thread, I called USCIS customer service today to speak about EAD application that has been pending for 60+ days. The Phone rep told that he cannot give me any information about any cases right now since their "system is down". I asked for clarificationand he said that cases are still being processed but the system used to view status is down. Not sure what that means.
Not sure if this will cause any more delays .............. I need EAD renewed by Sept since my current one expires then
Also anybody has any ideas on what "Plan B" might be if renewal is further delayed by sept?

I think "speaking change" versus working together to bring about change is where we all need to think. All of us have our own priorities and including me sometimes miss the point and sit in the sidelines. Make no assumptions, if we can't come together or put in hours of work specifically to support IV, everything will just remain a dream. We need to start taking initiatives and working towards a common goal to fix the broken system. We may disagree on things here and there and IV cannot support or take every position dear to us as an organization. We need to think as a community for the community and not purely my case or your case:)

Just like to correct you here my friend - Its incorrect to suggest that a house is a bad investment in the US. On the other hand, why treat it as an investment like so many foolish real estate speculators out there. Think of it as a place to live and be part of the American Dream. If not for this dream, many of us would have packed up and gone home back to our own countries.
