My I-140 is pending in TSC. I have applied I-485 for self and wife on July 18. Received by K.Lawson in NSC on July 19th 9.29 AM.
Check are cashed today by TSC, saw the SRC# in back of my check.

I am very sorry and shocked to hear this news. I pray to GOD so don't lose hope.. everything will be OK .... I think taking second/third opinion is going to help and as far as your wife Immigiration case .. I think some members mentioned about talking to Attorney .. You can also drop a email to Sheila Mutrhy and Rajive Khanna. I am sure they will come out and help...

My vote goes for DC on 7/14. Many people like me might have already used their time off recently to get a medical exam and paperwork for I-485. I live in Baltimore area and simply cannot make it to DC on a weekday. If I lose my job I won't get a green card - as simple as that.
If there are others in Baltimore area who would like to join the action please don't hesitate to contact me. We could car pool and get together to make signs. I'll also try to gather some friends, although it might be tough on a short notice - almost everyone is on vacation.

Section 205. Retaining Workers Subject to Green Card Backlog.
* Allows foreign workers who have started the green card process, but who are subject to green card backlogs, to pay a $500.00 supplemental fee to file an application to adjust status. This change would enable foreign workers to remain in the U.S. until the green card becomes available.
If above is the case, then AC21 could be used by anyone who files for AOS.

My case is similar to yours: dates, TSC, received EAD before receipts, don't know who paid the checks, etc.
I inquired my attorney and they sent me the receipts. Ask them, they would have received it already.

If IV has any plan to remove the unfair 7% quota by either lawsuit and/or lobby, I will donate $ 200 as well.
7% quota based on national origin is based on law but it is clearly a biased and outdated law. It is beyond my comprehension why should we scared of initiating a litigation against the US government when it is clearly involved in blatant discrimination. The HSMP rules were challenged successfully by Indian high skilled workers in UK, why can't we do the same over here? I pledge to donate USD 200 for a lawsuit if such an action is initiated.
