Called 3/14 the first time and was told that FP would be scheduled. Never heard so called again on 5/9 and this time was told to callback after 60 days from the initial call.
I spoke with one rep who said that they are processing "June 29th" applications so you have to wait for your "Biometrics Appointment". I am kinda lost on this one.
What is the best number to reach the right Customer Service department alongwith the options to reach a live person to speak with who can actually schedule the Biometrics Appointment.
Am a July 2nd Filer - Actual Application filed on Sep 10th.

Now just see the pattern, the moment we start talking about donation and volunteering .. the guys sitting on the sidelines distracting and demotivating , stopped being part of the conversation. Everyone says I am rude, not I am not I just show the mirror as it is.. what can I do if you see the ugly face in it.
How good the group can be , which is actually missing when you need the count.
IV made so many effort to keep the group attracted to this, by ask a attorney for free and other things.. I don't think the group deserve all this..
They might thank you if you can put up a shortcut for the pathetic visa bulletins published every month.

Since we are in a fighting mood, I will throw some fuel to the fire :) :)
When you think about it, reservation and quota system is actually a better deal for the upper caste.
First check out this picture, which details the population percentages and proposed reservations: File:PopulationEstimations.jpg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:PopulationEstimations.jpg)
As per the above picture, 52% of people in India belongs to Backward classes according to Mandal estimates. Since the proposed reservation for them is 27%, the reservation system works in favor of Forward classes as long as Backward classes are not uplifted from their current pathetic situation. Another way of looking at the graph is that 25.5% of people in India belongs to forward classes; and their share in the Indian pie in terms of higher education of job opportunities --> (100 - 27 - 22.5 = 50.5%). Personally I like this system, than 25.5% of us getting only 25.5% of our share.
To conclude:
If reservations stays; 25% upper caste can enjoy 50% of resources.

That's nice to hear. Can he guess what would be the likely outcome? If the judge just takes USCIS/DOS to task then it doesn't help us.
1. Will they make the July visa bulletin current again?
2. If not, will they allow everyone to file for EAD and AP?
3. If neither #1 nor #2, will there be any financial reimbursement?

I hope many people will contribute when the days are close. The sad part is that they do not realize that IV needs to know the collection amount details in advance to organize a mega event.

Would also like to thank Gopal (gsc999) for getting all the banners done and helping a lot in organizing the SJ rally.Kudos to all Noble souls in the IV Core. I think what IV has acheived is amazing and unprecedented. Also money is too small to repay all the hours and work you guys have put in.

TSC is moving like a snail. Last week we saw just couple of cases getting receipt or checks chased for Jun 26 or less and even this week TSC has not moved a day.
Is there anyone who got their checks cashed for the TSC case submitted to NSC on June 27th onwards?

But there is nothing below other than your signature and date. It does not ask you of previous EAD information. What does "complete below" means?
Q.16 The Eligibility here would (c) (9) for I-485 applications correct?
Where do I mail this application . My AOS is pending at TSC.

It is indeed sad that you continue to pontificate from a perch of indifference and ignorance. We all know that the entire EB immigration system is not a zero sum game (just ask Ron Hira and his ilk). Sad thing is, when it comes to EB3 I's, EB 2's such as you suddenly transform into a Ron Hira lite ... going about throwing broad hints about how the system is setup the way it is ... to serve those 'higher in the pecking order'.
If we were to buy this weak attempt at making a 'logical point', I would be glad to give Ron a call and have his folks look into YOUR respective EB2 applications and find out if there REALLY was "NO" qualified US worker available for that job. Want to play that game?
Look, the EB system is what it is. Instead of trying to bait others into silence by suddenly finding 'fairness in this system', only because this part of the puzzle narrowly goes to serve / protect your gains ... try to come together to fix the underlying weakness in the system.
For the record, I am not bitter about a 7+ year 'wait'. On the contrary, I have grown professionally thanks to the opportunity to focus my energies towards building a Billion dollar corporation. That said, I would LOVE to see the paperwork of EB2 Java 'gurus' and L1 converts stand up to true scrutiny ... and that would open a whole new can of worms. Game?
I know only of Java coffee:). I promise you Ron Hira wouldn't be interested in my application.
It looks like EB2-EB3 having overlapping qualifications is a major source of frustration for you. I have similar issues with EB1-EB2 overlaping qualifications.

Folks, here is what I am able to gather by self employment
(1) One can be self employed
(2) 1099 or w2 - kinda tricky - most people I talked to do w2 and any profits they get after they take their salary are bonuses
(3) The job has to be legitimate - in the same or similar category - you must be doing duties that are similar in nature to your 140 petition
(4) What is meant by legitimate is - you must simply not be doing "nothing" - there must be income and you must be doing your duties.

5. Job duties must match with original labor/I-140 conditions.

The DREAM Act is a bipartisan and narrowly-tailored bill that would allow undocumented immigrants who have completed two years of military service or college to petition the Secretary of Homeland Security for legal permanent residency. These individuals are required to have entered the United States prior to their sixteenth birthday, graduated from high school, and lived in the United States for at least five consecutive years.
As the Senate continues to work on the National Defense Authorization Act and its amendments, I will keep your thoughts in mind.

No. Pls only focus on the specific message in the email you had sent. Do not send another email to the email you have already sent and have it be ignored again or take a different route in the messaging.
Now you would want to call the office and talk about the points in your letter and ask why you did not get specific response to your suggestions. You wish to speak the legislative aide / immigration aide and discuss the issues in person rather than getting such automated messages that does not help you 'the constituent'. This is a serious issue for you as a constituent and would like it serious consideration by the office and discussion with you.
Take the matter a notch further and raise it. Then contact IV to help you out with the next steps.
