Now just see the pattern, the moment we start talking about donation and volunteering .. the guys sitting on the sidelines distracting and demotivating , stopped being part of the conversation. Everyone says I am rude, not I am not I just show the mirror as it is.. what can I do if you see the ugly face in it.
How good the group can be , which is actually missing when you need the count.
IV made so many effort to keep the group attracted to this, by ask a attorney for free and other things.. I don't think the group deserve all this..
They might thank you if you can put up a shortcut for the pathetic visa bulletins published every month.

Hi ,
I have filed to NSC on August 2nd. Reached the cenetr on August 3rd. I see that many plp filed after me got RN's..anyone else in the same situation as me.

Mine was filed on Aug 1st reached NSC on august 2 nd, No updates yet, called USCIS they asked me to wait for 90 days, I am wondering how other ppl checking the status.

I am just trying to see if NSC could go past the I-485 received on 06/01/2007. Many folks whose application was received the first day got receipt and receipt#. Is there anyone who applied later and got the receipt or receipt#.
I know atleast 5 friends whose applications reached NSC on 06/04/2007. No updates yet. I am very +ve they will soon as they are even working weekends....

My husband called USCIS today to check if they have correct address on file and alas they had old address. When we moved after filing for I-485/EAD/AP, we changed the address in Oct and also after we received receipt notices in Jan. We received EAD/AP/Finger printing notices at the present address for all three of us and now they are saying they had old address on my husband's I485 only, great!!!
They were not sure where the card/welcome notice/approval notice were mailed, to my old address or the attorney. Will check with the attorney today, if not what is the procedure as the card will return back. Thanks in advance.

So if the kid gets his GC and you do too because he, like many other kids, are removed from the queue, is that a problem or a good thing?
Plus in a lot of fields, having an MS or PhD is absolutely necessary.

I do see in sec 203 how some one becomes eligible for "eb quota". I dont see ebdependents there. I see only eb primary.

last week i took infopass and got shedule for biometric , i am also july 2nd filler and had not receive appointment until last week.
my appointment actually at 28th may 2008 but yesterday i went to asc and told them i will be leaving usa next week and request to take biometric fineally i am able to get biometric yesterday.
but i have to pay $25 for him doing my fevour because with out that he isnot willing to do so.
there is no lud today on my i-485 so could you please tell me how long it take to get lud ?
how long it take to clear fbi?
what is soft lud and hard lud ?
my pd is current so will i soon see my i-485 processing ?

Guys, any update on your FP notices? I have written to ombudsman almost 3 weeks ago about not receiving FP notices and nothing yet...
What are you guys thinking as next step?
No update from my side. I had called last week and week before that. Apparently I got the same IO the last two times and first time she told me no FP scheduled , security check cleared. Second time she said no FP scheduled and I asked about security check and she said its still pending. Imagine same IO giving inconsistent information regarding my security check. I am not even sure to believe anything they say anymore. I am not even sure if they really look it up or not.

It's almost 3 weeks today since I've opened SRs for my self and my spouse for not receiving FP notice and we haven't got any notice yet.
I want to know if some one who opened a SR for FP and did not receive any FP notice after the wait period expired, what did you do? Is taking an infopass the next step for missing FP notices or just wait and watch?

So, we're back to the semantics. We need USCIS/DOL definitions of "permanent" and "legitimate"--not the definition just for educators/tenured teaching positions, as desi3933 gave. If we don't have the definitions, we can/can't assume anything/everything. Therefore, self-employment in same/similar occupation, with a *projected* cash flow, should be classified as "FT, permanent."
